Our client operated a robust e-commerce system hosted on a dedicated server, supported by two desktop applications for handling orders, payments, and reporting. The platform consisted of several key modules: an e-store where users could browse and order products online, an admin panel for managing products, prices, and orders, a task manager to assign and track daily employee tasks, a payment module for handling transactions and financial statistics, a reporting system for analyzing sales data, and a page builder that allowed the admin to create and style static pages and product detail views. To take the platform to the next level, we introduced carefully selected AI enhancements that would deliver the most value without disrupting the existing workflow. AI was integrated into the e-store through personalized product recommendations and intelligent search, making the shopping experience more engaging for users. The admin panel now benefits from predictive sales analytics, allowing better inventory planning. In the task manager, smart task assignment uses employee performance data to recommend the most efficient workload distribution. The payment module now features AI-driven fraud detection to identify unusual transaction behavior. Meanwhile, the reporting module was upgraded to provide predictive sales insights and automated natural-language summaries, helping the client make quicker, data-informed decisions. Even the page builder was enhanced with AI-generated content suggestions, enabling the admin to craft more engaging and SEO-optimized pages effortlessly. These AI features transformed the system into a smart, adaptive platform that supports growth and automation while retaining its original functional strengths.
